The sky’s the limit! by Farihah Zainal (Singapore, Singapore)
In densely populated Singapore, public transport gives us urban mobility. Look carefully at this banner and you can see the trains soaring towards the sky, personifying the rise of urban transport against our city skyline. High-rise skyscrapers are popping up like mushrooms all over our tiny city, which poses a challenge to expanding the public transport network. To sustain our urban lifestyle, more rail networks are built underground instead of above-ground. Integrated hubs are also being developed to bring together bus interchanges, mass rapid transit (MRT) stations, homes and shopping facilities all under one roof.
